Hopi Tribe – Executive Orders & Declarations

In response to COVID-19, the Hopi Tribe adopted the following Executive Orders and Declarations.

The original Stay at Home Executive Order #002-2020 took effect on March 23, 2020 in line with the Tribal Emergency Declaration Executive Order #01-2020 executed on March 17, 2020.

The Stay at Home Executive Order #002.1-2020 called for an amendment and extension to the original and was executed on April 14, 2020 to last until May 9, 2020.

The Stay at Home Executive Order #002.2-2020 called for an amendment and extension to the original and was executed on May 4, 2020 to last until May 31, 2020.

The Stay at Home Executive Order #002.3-2020 called for an amendment and extension to the original and executed on May 27, 2020 to last until June 20, 2020.

The Stay at Home Executive Order #002.4-2020 called for an amendment and extension to the original and executed on June 18, 2020 to last until July 3, 2020.

The Executive Order #003-2020 for the Hopi Reservation Curfew was effective starting on June 18, 2020.

The Stay at Home Executive Order #002.5-2020 called for an amendment and extension to the original and was executed on July 1, 2020 to last until July 31, 2020.

The current Hopi Reservation Wide Curfew – both Nightly and Weekends – will continue through July 31, 2020. The amendment and extension to the curfew on Hopi is in the Executive Order #003.1-2020 – the Hopi Reservation Curfew – it was effective starting on July 1, 2020.

The Stay at Home Executive Order #002.6-2020 called for an amendment and extension to the original and was executed on July 31, 2020 to last until August 30, 2020.

OTHER EXECUTIVE ORDER

The original  Executive Order #001-2018 – Declaration of Extreme Fire Danger is still in effect.  It went into effect on April 19, 2018, and its still applicable today. Open burning, fireworks and campfires are strictly prohibited. PLEASE READ the Public Service Announcement.
